Bristol-Myers Squibb pinged $515 million to settle fraud charges
Sunday, September 30th, 2007Drugs giant Bristol-Meyers Squibb and a former subsidiary have been forced to pay more than half a billion dollars to settle settle federal and state investigations for promoting an anti-psychotic drug, Ablify, for uses that were not approved by the US Food and Drug Administration and providing illegal inducements to doctors and other health care providers.
