A persistent and effective Australian shareholder activist has forced Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation to consider a motion at its next annual general meeting that would scrap News Corp’s outrageous gerrymander system of Class A and Class B shares that ensure Murdoch stays in control with only 15 per cent of the equity.
